On a subjet of "friends with benefits"?

I am single now for less than three years. I was dating several people in that time. I have a question about a situation. Lets say two people meet , like each other, sleep together and call call it " friends with benefits". I recently broke up with a "cop chick" that I work with who liked this set up. Do You run in to stuff like that? I mean when I was 18-19 we did it this way all the time. So in Kharkov do You meet couples who are just "friends with benefits"? How do You feel about it?

Back in Kharkov I personally was in situation like you had described. In my case everybody was happy. We were good friends. She used to say "if two people are friends, why not to know each other a bit better?" :-) It was good and convenient for both of us. She didn't like it very much when found out that once in a while I was also, grhmm.. "having short term relationships" :-) with other girls, but she didn't make a federal case out of it either. :-)
My general impression of russian/ukrainian girls before I moved to U.S. was that most of them are rather long-term-relationship-with-prospective-marriage oriented.

I went out with a girl from Moscow. On a second date she says something about my intensions? How the hell do I know? I love a long term with prospective deal. BUT. I think a prospective comes AFTER You both have done ALOT together.Am I wrong?

I’d had completely the opposite impression. Although I left the country when I was 20. :-)

Maybe she was just asking you about your long-term goals and intentions at the time. I think it's normal... I would too. I don't think she meant to ask you about your feelings and intentions as to her but it was rather a general question.

I know an Indian girl who I m sure can do the same thing. Namely she adds Tabasco to every kind of food she eats. she claims there is no taste without tobasco... but honestly with tobasco all over your meal is there any taste?

I m not quite agree... I mean sure you have to know each other very well before you get married and even better is to try to live together for say 2 years first, without a stamp and any obliges... but it shouldnt be too long like 10 years... routine can kill everything, making your relationship boring for you both

And what about "A Short History of Tractor in Ukrainian" by Marina Lewycka?! I havent really like this one... I think it provides a very bad description of Ukrianian people...

hmm i dont know... but im sure it does... i mean if you are a family you start thinking about children, buying a house together and so on... this problems and targets fill up your life...
