if only i could Mandarin... dreaming, i could get really rich through trading with China- Good Idea! Damn!
I have bad news for you and I am goint to disappoint you.
Active Chinese people study english and they do not wait until all the world will learn the mandarin language.
They want to captive the world now, not tomorrow.

Короче в названии темы надо исправить на Let's а то как-то кривовато выглядит.

It's OK. All in all, at the beginning of this topic people were unable even to speak English. Now you see.

Kara, say!

Hi guys! I am newbie here and too lazy to read all the previous messages. Anyway, feel free to discuss literally anything with me)

In a nutshell (в двух словах).
There was a dispute. Should Ukrainians study Chinese language (especially mandarin dialect)? They say that the mandarin will help our people for business with China.
I said that it is pointless. As I know the Chineses study English.

I think, it totally depends (as always, you know).
For instance, my friend visited China once (couple of years ago, I guess) as Aiesec volunteer. Now she is working there as a teacher for chinease kids. In this case it`s kinda preferable to speak chinease at least a bit, just to understand what kids are talking about.
Otherways it may be pointless.
As for chinease people speaking English - sometimes they have such a weird pronunciation, that people can hardly get what they`re talking about:D.

of course they study it, as the rest of the world do in Schools e.g. but try to find your way around somewhere in China using English. .

All the same) In the village, where people do nothing but gardening - like farmers - they just won`t have any cause to use it. So even if they would learn it at school, without practice it is just useless information.

Applicaple to any country :)

I heard about this job. They say one can earn 1000 dollars a mounth. There is also good opportunity to discover the world and to get new experience. If I could speak English fluently I would go to China as a teacher

I really have no idea how much does she earn. Enough I guess.
It was total madness with that trip and job... :)
Viktoria (that`s her name) wanted to go to India, but new officer in the indian ambassy refused to approve her visa request. So she took flight to Malasia, spent there couple of months working, then there was Vietnam and finally China.
She worked as office manager in a company, but had just 6 months contract, so in the end of february she basically needed to find another job. That's how she got english teacher position. Last month saw couple of pics os Prambanan and some Jakarta landscapes, so she visited Indonesia.
Now she is back in Kharkiv as her chinease visa expired and it`s a problem to request another one from here. So she`s gonna go to Malasia again and make her permission there. Backdoors everywhere, if you know what I mean.
Being honest, I am not sure I could solve all such problems like to find a job in China or to stay in Malasia till visa is ready.. Viktoria has pure talent for adaptation in such conditions.
