it is a good start. there is no sense to speak in other tenses if you have not knew the simplest one and use it on correct way.

I have issues when I try to use tenses like past simple, present simple and future. And I am totally disappointed when I must use conditionals or modals of deduction or future plans. I can not, but it is so simple, at the first sight.
writing is much MUCH much easier

I find it much comfortable to communicate with non-native foreigners, and get the same or bigger value than speaking to some jerk from UK.

Её родители разбогатели продавая разные штуки для (это слово не знаю) и брачных церемоний. Amusement это развлечение я не уверен, может надо было писать entertainment. Obstacle это препятствие. Старые деньги это старые деньги, у них капитализм давно. И да, у нас нет аристократии, у нас все богачи в первом поколении. Отсюда их поведение.
