127.1.1.0 is your own PC
127.x.x.x is the universal loopback in TCP/IP. It is not used by anybody since all software is written to recognize it as such. If you want to test your TCP/IP protocol stack then you can ping 127.0.0.1 and you will receive a reply, even if your network card isn’t plugged into any network. This tells you that the TCP/IP protocol stack (driver software) is working properly on your PC. This works with any 127.x.x.x address except 0 in the last octet. For example: ping 127.1.1.0 will get you an error.
