Could you provide a link to a service (preferably free) where AI can generate a set of images for the characters of the book? I'm particularly interested in how the set of characters for Bulgakov's "Master and Margarita" would look.

Certainly! I'd be happy to help you find a service that can generate images for the characters of Bulgakov's "Master and Margarita." While there are various AI-powered image generators available, one popular option is This Person Does Not Exist (TPDNE). TPDNE uses a Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) to create realistic human faces that do not actually belong to real people. It generates an entirely new face each time you refresh the page.

To use TPDNE, you can visit the website at thispersondoesnotexist.com. However, it's worth noting that TPDNE focuses on generating individual faces, rather than representing entire characters or scenes. Hence, you would need to gather inspiration from the generated faces and adapt them to create a full set of characters based on Bulgakov's novel.

If you're specifically looking for character illustrations or more comprehensive representations rather than just faces, AI-generated images may not provide the desired style or accuracy at the moment. In such cases, hiring an artist or using character design software tools that allow customization based on text descriptions might be more suitable options.

Remember, AI-generated images are not always perfect, so utilizing human artistic skills in combination with AI assistance might lead to the best results.

What I really meant is the question - could AI generate images from the whole book, rather than from specific descriptions that user has to select. Meaning that AI can (or can't) perform such selection itself.

Apologies for the confusion. Currently, AI does not have the capability to automatically generate images from entire books. AI-generated images are often based on specific prompts or descriptions provided by the user, and they typically excel at generating visuals based on those specific inputs. The AI requires specific instructions or guidelines to generate imagery accurately.

To generate images from an entire book, AI would need to understand the context, plot, and characteristics of various characters and scenes. While AI has made significant progress in understanding and processing natural language, generating complex visuals based on an entire book's content is still a challenge.

However, AI researchers are continuously working on developing models that can understand and interpret text at a deeper level, which might eventually lead to the ability to generate more comprehensive imagery from books. But for now, the process of selecting specific descriptions or prompts to generate images is still the norm.
