Почему нет? Как по мне, так "loves reading" звучит как-то...
А перевод:
1. Она любит читать.

Кстати "можно сказать"- это местечковый акцент :D

С другой стороны.. я же говорю на американском, а не на британском.. вполне возможно, что в британском фраза будет построена по-другому.. а уж произнесена... :D

По поводу "I like reading" и "I like to read".
Мне объяснял разницу коренной лондонец в IH на примере "I like to get up early" и "I like getting up early". Как он объяснял, первое означает: мне нравится вставать рано (т.к. это лучше, чем поздно - можно больше успеть и т.п.), тогда как второе означает: мне нравится сам процесс раннего утреннего подъема (потягивание с улыбкой в постели, радость от солнышка, заглядывающего в окно, короче - типа, классический жаворонок проснулся). :)

Кстати, да. Я вот тут поднял синего Мёрфи, почитал (кому интересно, Unit 58).
Можно употреблять и like to , но в контексте того, что I think it is a good thing to do, but I don't necessarily enjoy it. А контекст I like/love doing - это I do it and enjoy it.
В общем, говоря об увлечениях и хобби, лучше употреблять -ing form. Говоря о работе, которая просто нравится - like to.

Ну что ж.. вот и я что-то новенькое узнал.. Вообще- это очень сложно: чувствовать язык и обороты..
Ведь разница между "нравится, потому что мне это помогает" и "нравится, потому что я просто тащусь" довольно незначительная, но ведь и в русском языке можно сказать "я увлекаюсь" и "мне нравится" и это не совсем одно и то же... :)
